This home remodeling and fire restoration project was built for a family in Bay Shore, NY (Long Island). The homeowner contacted Glitz Construction through a referral and trusted us from the start to restore their home to a state that was better than a new home construction.

The home was originally built as a single-family home, but the owners took the opportunity to convert it into a two-family residence after the fire occurred. The lower level of the house was designed and built to become a suite for the family matriarch, and the upper level became the living space for her son and his family.

The personal tastes of each family are reflected in the selected finishes of this home remodeling project. The upper level is more modern in style. The residents worked with interior designer Victoria Jones of Victoria Lee Interiors to bring their vision to life. The family matriarch chose to work with Glitz’s in-house design coordinator to help her with her selections, such as tile, flooring, paint colors, cabinetry, and countertops. Glitz Construction also helped the homeowners source their materials and coordinated ordering, pickup, and delivery.
